Welcome to my blog. I’m documenting my adventure through having gastric sleeve surgery. Hope you have a nice stay!
As a person that didn’t rate shopping as even an “I’ll enjoy it if I have to” activity, I’ve found since surgery I think more about clothes and what I wear more than ever.
Even though I was excited for the prospect of surgery, I was still scared.
If you are considering surgery let me tell you about one of the things no one talks about…pooping.
Three full months properly into this journey, two of which are post surgery, and I think I’m finally at that point where I can see the changes happening.
A change as big as undergoing Gastric Sleeve surgery impacts more than just the life of the one having surgery. Everyone around them finds it impacts them in one way or another.
When you find yourself in hospital for a few days it’s funny how you change as a person.
They say the hardest part of any journey is the beginning. I think that’s only true because this journey doesn’t have cheese.
Now that I’ve made the decision to have gastric sleeve surgery…what the hell do I do now? Turns out making the decision is the easiest step.
This is the backstory exposition part of the journey…picture a cool soundtrack in the background.
If you are going to take the plunge with me and learn about my upcoming journey you might want to know who I am…or not…
